MY STORY

My name is Oliver (Oli). Originally from Frome, Somerset. I travelled to neighbouring Wiltshire and later Devon to complete my studies. I completed a Games Development Course while attending Wiltshire College in Trowbridge, and discovered a love for the Gaming Industry. I went to University, then later an Art College at Plymouth College of Art (PCA), to complete my degree to qualify as a Game Designer.  My long-term goal is to get into the industry. I found my passion from designing games in my first year of University and never shied away from it since. After university I did game jams to improve my skills and after 2 years I feel confident I can meet the criteria to be a Games Designer. I have the skills to prototype game mechanics. I am able to balance games. I can work with the other departments and understand different workflows to better communicate my ideas to them and see what works and what doesn't work. I am the most confident in Unreal Engine but I am willing to learn other engines.
